WORKSHOP #1
Grades 1-6

These workshops are offered as either a half-day or a full day experience.

In groups students create simple rod or shadow puppets. With rod puppets they are asked to create simple backdrops; with shadow puppets they create characters and simple scenic elements. In both these workshops the students will work with a well known folk or fairy tale..
At the end of this 3 or 5 hour workshop the students present their play using the puppets they have created.
